NIGERIANS; HOME AND IN DIASPORA, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! LET US BUILD THIS NATION

NIGERIANS. Let us Emancipate Nigeria NOW and it must begin with ME and YOU. Let us (Nigerian) both at home and in the diaspora join hands together and make this country what is is meant to be, A Great Nation, that is what was expected of us after independence. Nigerians Do not Give Up Hope, from the North, East, West and South, let us unite and fight this fight (peaceful) by letting those who want to destroy this country hear our voice shout out against there corruption, against bad and corrupt government, against decaying moral values brought about by corrupt politicians and very bad leaders. Let us once more be proud to hold our heads high and beat our chest proudly and say I am a Nigerian, i am proud to be a Nigerian, i will always cherish Nigeria. Are u not tire of being in another mans country living there as a second class citizen, are we not tired contributing to the developments of other peoples country at the expense of Nigeria. So My Brothers and Sisters from far and wide in Nigeria, let us Emancipate ourselves and Emancipate Nigeria NOW, today. It begins with ME and YOU, for the sake of the present and future generations.
For generations, our leaders have sought to divide us because it makes political sense to them to keep us divided.  We have fought, argued, and accused one another because our so called leaders have pointed accusing fingers at each other to score cheap political point. And where has this left us, this country.  Corruption has increased ten fold, tribalism waxing stronger by the day, violence in the north, east west and south sponsored by these same political leaders who in turn have looted the treasury dry.  Go to  Dubai, go to Singapore, Britain and the United States and see the wonders these looter cum politicians and built or invested in for other to rip from while we Nigerians fight amongst ourselves over scrap meat, envying each other, accusing each other and killing, maiming each other.
About 70% live below poverty line here in Nigeria blessed with various forms of Natural Resources besides oil and gas.  Basic utilities like good roads, water and light are virtually bad while these same leaders use our monies to make these infrastructure in those country work. Health care is non existence, Basic educational infrastructure for the ages 1 - 10 is in a very bad state.  Nigerian Graduates are refereed to as half baked. While these corrupt official can afford to send there children to good schools outside Nigeria.
We must hold the Nigerian Government accountable to its people. Nigeria is passing through a difficult moment with embarrassments from all areas and most especially in its war on corruption. Corruption has been a negative mark on Nigerian’s history since independence and especially during the MILITARY years when corruption was institutionalised.  Corruption has crippled our financial stability which has over the years turned our population and future leaders into prostitutes, arm robbers and international fraudsters.  It has further crippled our ability to create job with our various resources which has been allotted illegally through government allocations and institutions such as agencies that have managed our PRIVATISATION issues.  Government, through this selfish acts did not taken into consideration millions of Nigerians, thus resulting and creating mass unemployment and non availability of trained skilled workers that would have further boast the economy through JOB CREATION simply because many of the companies did not go to the right person(s) who would have selflessly used it to improve on our financial and social standing through increased Job Creation, availability of  monies for the masses, and a creation of a middle class that is the Middle man in a stable economy.   The masses have in turn reacted to all these vices with lamentation and complaints only never trying to look for a way forward.
Also, youths in Nigeria are into vandalism, cultism, and exams malpractices with disrespect for authority and an upsurge in prostitution, armed robbery, fraudulent tendencies such as yahooing, composing and mailing scam letters and mails, perpetrating Bank Frauds, drug abuse and other self destructive behaviour. Most continue these anti-social behaviour in their adult lives bringing about societal decay in our country today simply because our sense of PATRIOTISM has been dealt a solid death blow by decades of corruption and corrupt practises which has been visually encouraged over and over with presentations of AWARDS, GIFTS and PROMOTIONS into sensitive offices thus has encouraged youths to become corrupt.

HOW DO WE REBOOT, REFORMAT AND REINSTALL CHARACTER, MORAL, INTEGRITY, SELF WORTH AND PATRIOTISM. How do we repair the years of neglect and decay in this country Nigeria?  How do we give the present generation the hope to continue to want to be a Nigerian, and the future generation that there is hope in NIGERIA.
Please add your constructive comment, input and any positive views that will propel this country toward greatness. Also, it is very o.k to really criticise ourselves, leaders, government and political class.
